The RiteCare® Clinics generally accept preschool children who have difficulty speaking or understanding the spoken word or school-age children who have difficulty learning to read. Some centres also offer literacy training for adults. Clinics are available in all 50 states. Scottish Rite Masons, Northern Jurisdiction have been national leaders in the effort to help children and families overcome the obstacles of dyslexia. There are 59 Learning Centres in 15 states.
The Order of DeMolay offers an Organization for young men aged 12 to 21 and develops civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills so vitally needed in society today.
Albert Pikes Masonic association is widely known but the charities and associations are less so. This particular association is supported by Grand Lodges and is testimony to the great heart of the fraternity.
The Supreme Council, Order of the Amaranth is an organisation formed with fraternal, social and charitable principals. The main charity is the Diabetic Foundation, however other charities are supported including:: Scholarship Funds, Nurses' Training, Care for the Elderly, Soup Kitchens, Ronald McDonald's House Visiting Nurses, and many other local community charities.
Order of the Eastern Star, General Grand Chapter is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both women and men may belong. They donate funds to a wide range of worthy charities. Some examples are: Cancer Research Projects, Arthritis Fund, Heart Fund, Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, orphanages and many other charities. International Order of Rainbow for Girls. Rainbow is a non-profit, service-oriented organization that teaches girls three basic virtues: Faith in a Supreme Being and other people, having Hope in all that they do, and Charity toward others. Rainbow is open to girls between the ages of 11 and 20, regardless of race, creed, color or national origin.
International Order of Job's Daughters, is an organization of young women between the ages of 10 and 20 who are related to a Master Mason. Members are located the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and the Philippines. Throughout the year, they perform service projects to help their communities, the less fortunate, and other charities. Job's Daughters actively support the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund, which purchases hearing assistive devices for hearing impaired children.
Shriners Hospitals for Children and Shriners Burn Institutes, provides orthopedic services to children through a network of 22 hospitals. Further, treatment for burns victims at three burns centers, specialized medical services for spinal cord injuries, and cleft palates.
